To mark World AIDS Day 2020, the Embassy of Israel and Raindance Festival are excited to invite you to a special screening of “Who’s Gonna Love Me Now?”, and a Q&A with the film’s co-director Barak Heymann, and the protagonist, Saar Maoz.

“Who’s Gonna Love Me Now?” is a British-Israeli co-production documentary film, following the journey of Saar Maoz, homosexual HIV-positive Israeli expatriate living in London. Saar left the religious kibbutz he grew up in Israel, and came to the UK . Many years later, having started over in London, he finally decides to reach out to his family, hoping to reconcile with them.
The film was premiered in 2016 at the 66th Berlin International Film Festival, where it won the Panorama Audience Award for Best Documentary.
“Who’s Gonna Love Me Now?” will be available to watch on Raindance Festival digital platform upon registration between the dates Saturday 28th November - Wednesday 5th December.
