In the shady streets of Tel Aviv, Omer finds his stolen bicycle. He confronts an African refugee, who claims it belongs to him now. When the police arrive, they question the refugee’s status, and Omer’s attempt to retrieve his bicycle is now replaced by an attempt to remain human.
Tomer Shushan is a director-screenwriter raised in Tel Aviv who graduated from the Minshar School of Art in 2016. White Eye won Best Narrative Short Jury Award at South By South West and Best Short Film Award at the Haifa International Film Festival. Tomer is currently developing his first feature.
