Kerli Kirch Schneider has co-created and directed numerous plays for the award-winning Estonian theatre group Kõgõkogo, for whom she has also acted. She has taken her first steps in screenwriting and directing through the film programme at the University of Miami. Virago is Kerli's first professionally produced film.
