How do we perceive ourselves and what’s beautiful in the era of seeing reality through a filter? The film explores the correlation between skin and identity through intimate conversations with young people who have experienced skin bias, whether because of colour, scars, tattoos or past medical conditions.
Artur Zaremba is BAFTA-nominated writer-director based in London. His acclaimed short films (Our Father, Spectrum, Skin) have been exhibited at numerous prominent film festivals. With a natural propensity for character-driven narratives, Artur seeks fresh perspectives and innovative storytelling techniques, while keeping thoughtful relevance at the heart of each project.
