Joy is a queer black woman working as a personal trainer for the wealthy and powerful. However, vivid fantasies of brutally murdering her classist, racist clients plague her relentlessly. What happens when her fantasies start bleeding into reality?
Sara Werner is a writer-director. She holds an MFA from the University of Miami and has interned at NewFest and GLAAD in New York. Her first short, Aurora, won her multiple awards. Passionate about queer cinema, she is currently working on a feature documentary about queer culture in Appalachia.
