Raindance have partnered with Industry Minds for a second edition of this live podcast about mental health and filmmaking. Filmmakers, screen creatives and experts will talk about the effects of Covid-related isolation on creative minds.
We’ll discuss alienation, general anxiety and the inability to focus or create, and we’ll present useful tools to help creatives during this difficult time.

About the Speakers:
**Cathy Read **originates from Edinburgh and graduated from ArtsEd with a BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre. Since graduating roles include: Thamesa in Bumblescratch (Adelphi Theatre), Beth March in Little Women (Hope Mill Theatre), Lucy in The Life and Times of Timothy Cratchit (Southwark Playhouse) and Ensemble in The Banquet of Antony and Cleopatra (Louvre Museum, Abu Dhabi). Cathy has explored different aspects of the industry since mid 2019 including casting and administration roles and has recently embarked on a Law degree.
Scarlet Maltman co-founded Industry Minds in 2018 after a difficult experience with mental health and as a result, wanted to start an open conversation on mental health in the arts. Alongside running Industry Minds, Scarlett works as an actor working across screen and stage. Recent credits include Countess Dolzhikov in Hulu’s “The Great” and The Pirate Queen in London’s West End.
