After her parents are killed on a pilgrimage abroad, a young woman is manipulated into joining their religion. Inspired by films such as Moonlight and Midsommar, this black-and-white drama tackles themes of traditionalism, grief, loss, exploitation and narcissism.

Arthur Moorhouse is a 20 year-old filmmaker from the South East of England, with a keen eye for directing. Arthur is a third year student, studying Politics and International Relations at the University of Southampton, and Hell or High Water is his directorial debut.
