Johnny Supro is a washed-up taxi driver, tired with life and stuck in the underbelly of society. Filmmakers Wouter Sel and Thijs De Cloedt paint a surreal and grim reality with little room for hope. In this animated short, they push their main character into a spiral of insanity.
Ghost Eye is the result of Wouter Sel and Thijs De Cloed's interest for poetry in pain, beauty in decay and grace in despair. Influenced by the work of Charles Bukowski, both directors love for the audience to be confused, not knowing if what they've seen was beautiful, ugly or both.
