Jeremy Zimmermann is one of the UK’s leading casting directors and has worked on international productions for the past twenty years with such notable directors as Duncan Jones, Peter Yates, Ron Howard, Guillermo del Toro and Richard Attenborough. He was also nominated for an Emmy in 1995 for an ‘Outstanding Individual Achievement Award’.

He has cast features such as Moon, Hellboy, Willow, Keeping Mum, Africa United and Night Train to Lisbon.

About Jeremy Zimmerman:

Emmy-nominated Jeremy Zimmermann is one of the UK’s leading casting directors and has worked on productions with such notable directors as Ron Howard, Guillermo del Toro, Bille August, Giuseppe Tornatore, Isabel Coixet, Peter Yates, John Schlesinger, Ridley Scott, Bruce Beresford, Neil Marshall and Sir Richard Attenborough. Following an early career in international marketing,

Jeremy changed direction to become an actor, studying at the Drama Centre. He spent ten years working in repertory theatre, television & film, and also took an opportunity to work behind the cameras with a commercial film company. He eventually turned down an offer to join the National Theatre Company to pursue this alternative career in films.

Jeremy went on to join forces with Noel Davis (also an ex-actor) and they started their own casting agency, Davis & Zimmermann. After ten years in partnership, Jeremy opened his own company, Jeremy Zimmermann Casting. Ever since he has become a mentor for undiscovered talent, giving many actors their early or significant breaks, including Paul Bettany, Rachel Weisz, Matthias Schweighõfer, Rebecca Ferguson, Akiya Henry, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Chipo Chung and Aaron Taylor-Johnson.

About Justin Shevlin:

Justin Shevlin is an Anglo-Irish actor, writer and director whose theatre work has included the Royal Shakespeare Company, Shakespeare’s Globe and in London’s West End. He has also appeared on British TV and Film in one-off and serial dramas, such as ‘The Honourable Woman’, ‘The Plastic Man’, ‘New Tricks’ and ‘Waking the Dead.

As a director, alongside narrative work, he has also worked in advertising with the agency Freeform Worldwide for clients as diverse as Lionsgate Films, Barclays Bank, Google and The British Summertime Festival.

He is currently the Undergraduate Programme Director at the Raindance Film School.
